Event Introduction and Description:
Ever since the establishment, Songshan Cihui Temple has adhered to the Holy instructions of Yaochi Jinmu (Goddess of Life and Immortality), established various public welfare, charity, culture and education also other civilize undertakings, carried forward Taoism culture as well as to promote human fraternity and peace. Since 2008, Songshan Cihui Temple has planned a series of Yaochi Jinmu Cultural Festival activities with the spirit of public welfare, charity, culture and social civilization. Events include mountain cleaning and hiking activities, blessing dharma assembly for dragon installation to protect the country, Baomin pilgrimage (protection of the people parade) and concert to carry foward maternal love. Through traditional religious, folk pilgrimage activity and concert appreciation event in combining tradition with modernity, interconnecting maternal love and gratitude to let the social public have a more diverse understanding of traditional folk customs and temple fair activities.
